Share Your Story!

At CEFCU, you’re part of a community — borrowers and savers helping each other achieve better. And the value of “better” means something different for every member. In fact, we think when it comes to what makes CEFCU a better choice, members say it best!

We’d love to hear from individuals like you, sharing what you appreciate most about CEFCU and the benefits you enjoy as Credit Union member.

For example, tell us about one or more of the following:

  • What you love most about CEFCU?
  • A CEFCU employee who has gone out of their way to assist you.
  • How CEFCU helped you reach a milestone or goal, such as buying your first car, your first home, saving for the future, etc.
  • The CEFCU services and options you use most frequently, like CEFCU On-Line® and Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, CEFCU ATMs & Co-op® ATMs, CEFCU Credit Mastercard®, etc,
  • The one word or phrase you’d use to describe CEFCU… and why.
  • What “Not a bank – better” means to you.
  • Anything YOU want to share!

Quick guidelines for submitting materials:

  • Keep it short — preferably 2 minutes or less.
  • Capture this yourself with your smartphone, or have someone help you record it.
  • Be sure there are no logos or trademarked items shown in the video.
  • Avoid showing others in your video.
  • Preferred video formats are .mp4 or .mov,
  • Make it your own — share a CEFCU story or a quick thank you in your own words.

I hereby give CEFCU consent to use, print, publish and/or display publically, including, without limitation, via its World Wide Website as well as its designated webpage on Facebook, YouTube and/or Instagram, in CEFCU publications and as part of CEFCU publicity materials, my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin, all royalty free and without further consideration. Further, I agree to the following terms and to receive these terms, electronically:

I understand that my consent is voluntary, and I accept any risk that may come from the use and public display of my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin.

I represent that I am the only person in the photo and/or video and authorize CEFCU to crop or treat the photo and/or video at its discretion.

I acknowledge and agree that CEFCU may choose not to use my story, photo and/or video at this time, but may do so in its sole discretion at a later date; and, may discontinue the use and public display of my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin at any time without notice.

I understand that once my story, photo and/or video are posted on CEFCU’s website and/or on its webpage on Facebook, YouTube and/or Instagram the story, photo and/or video can be downloaded by any computer user.

I waive my rights of privacy and publicity and any other rights that I may have relating to the use and public display of my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin.

I release and discharge CEFCU, its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from all liability for any injury, death, damage or loss to person or property resulting from, sustained by or arising out of the foregoing use and public display of my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin.

I agree that I have reviewed the Use of My Story, Photo and/or Video Consent above and consent to the use and display of my story, photo and/or video, my first name, and city/state of origin by CEFCU and to the terms thereof.
